After breakfast, take a domestic flight or scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. The journey offers stunning views of Uganda’s lush countryside and local villages. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and prepare for the next day’s trek.

Mid-range Lodge: Mahogany Springs Lodge OR SIMILAR

Rise early for a pre-trek briefing before venturing into the forest with experienced guides and trackers. The trek can last anywhere from 2 to 6 hours depending on gorilla movements, but the reward is unmatched: a close-up encounter with a gorilla family in their natural habitat. Spend one magical hour observing their behavior before trekking back. Spend the evening relaxing at the lodge.

Today you’ll take a flight from Bwindi (or nearby airstrip) to Entebbe and then connect to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport in Tanzania. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Arusha for rest and preparation for the Tanzanian safari segment.

After breakfast, you will drive or take a short flight to Serengeti National Park. On the way, enjoy a game drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enter the vast Serengeti plains and begin spotting wildlife en route to your lodge. In the evening, enjoy a sundowner and dinner under the stars.

Overnight: Seronera – Serengeti National Park

Mid-range Lodge: Shuhudia Adventure Camp OR SIMILAR

Spend the full day exploring the Serengeti with your guide in search of the Great Wildebeests Migration — massive herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle on the move, often followed by predators. Depending on the time of year, you'll explore either the central, western, or northern Serengeti where the migration is active. Picnic lunch in the bush included.

Overnight: Kogatende – Serengeti National Park

After a morning game drive and breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arrive in time for a relaxing afternoon with panoramic views over the crater.
