At a height of 4,562 meters, it is the second-highest mountain in Tanzania and the fifth-highest in Africa. The three-day Mount Meru trekking adventure involves hiking to the summit of this mountain, offering a unique and rewarding experience.

    The 3 Days Mount Meru trekking adventure starts with a hike through the tropical rainforest, where you will be able to spot a variety of wildlife species such as elephants, buffaloes, and colobus monkeys. As you ascend, the vegetation changes to montane forest, where you will encounter a variety of bird species such as the Hartlaub's turaco and the Silvery-cheeked hornbill.

    On day two, the 3 Days Mount Meru trekking becomes more challenging as you climb up to the saddle, which is located between the two peaks of Mount Meru. You will have a chance to see the ash cone, which is the remnant of the volcanic activity that occurred millions of years ago.

Arrive at Miriakamba Hut (2,514m) in the late afternoon, enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

      After breakfast, continue the 3 Days Mount Meru trek through heather and moorland zones. Reach the Saddle Hut (3,570m) by early afternoon, and spend the rest of the day acclimatizing to the higher altitude. Enjoy dinner and rest in preparation for the summit push.

      Wake up early for the final push to the summit of Mount Meru (4,566m). Hike through rocky terrain and reach the summit in time for sunrise, with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the surrounding landscape. Descend back to Saddle Hut for breakfast and rest, before continuing down to Momella Gate. Meet with your driver and drive back to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi.
